What’s the stake?

The International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (ITPGRFA) recognizes the Farmers' Rights to sow, exchange and sell seeds. But governments in develpped countries do not apply this treaty and a citizen's campaign is now essential for the recognition of these rights. 

This is a global consultation under the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (ITPGRFA, also known as the International Treaty, cf. Www.planttreaty.org). Unfortunately, we receive this information with a deadline of August 31, 2010!
