Alliance for Food Sovereignty in Africa

The Alliance for Food Sovereignty in Africa (AFSA), a “network of African networks” gathering African farmer and civil society groups in Africa has been officially launched on December 5, 2011 at Durban.

They denounce false solution as AGRA, GMOs, biofuel land grabbing and carbon trading. They promote agroecology as a solution to climate change, feeding people, biodiversity, livelihoods and healing the soils.
