The president of the Episcopal Conference of Congo - Brazzaville, Bishop Louis Portella Mbuyu, Bishop of Kinkala, made a new step in his crusade for revenue transparency for raw materials extracted in Africa. Mandated by the Symposium of Episcopal Conferences of Africa and Madagascar (SECAM), he pleaded in Brussels with European institutions that the EU adopts legislation that requires companies to publish their payments abroad for taxes, royalties and other fees and the amount of their production.
